Well, if you read my haul thread, you'd know that I bought some SW OTC figs today, only to find the suburst versions later for $5 cheaper each. I decided I was going to open the figs, so I returned the ones I bought and went to Zellers to grab the other ones.

Since they were so much cheaper, I decided to get some more. So in the end, I got the 4 Degobah figures, Vader, a Stormtrooper, and Boba Fett. 7 figures. Needless to say, walking through the store with a basket full of Star Wars figures made me feel like a scalper.

And when I got into line, a woman and her son in front of me were blatantly whispering about me. I felt like calling the kid on it, but I've got no balls and didn't want to start shit.

Oh well, now I have 7 figures for $4 more than I paid for 4.

I understand how you felt. Same thing happened to me last week when I found a new arrival of ML6 and I bought only the "hard to get" one (deadpool, jug and Phoenix). I bought those because I already had the others but I felt strange none the less.

I know it had nothing to do with scalping, but I can't stand the idea of people thinking bad about me, even if I don't know them and will never see them again.

You shouldn't feel like a scalper, it's not like you had 10 of the same figure in your cart.
Some people don't understand that people actually collect these for themselves

The most figures I've bought at one time was 4 at EB Games.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I know that's pretty much it. Especially here. I don't think there's much of a collecting community 'round these parts.

Daj, I think this is a record for me as far as number of figures go. I'm just new at buying cheaper figures, because it's definately not a record dollar-wise.

Yeah, the biggest amount of money I've spent on figures at one time was around $60-70.

My favorite was at TRU one day, I had some ML, spriderman classics, and star wars figures, and she was like " boy your kids are lucky ". And I looked right at her and said " I don't have any kids." And all she could do was finish ringing up my figures and say " OH "......... that really makes a person feel good.
